Absolutely adored the classic charm of the lobby and the spacious, comfy room. The bathroom was a delight too! Everything was so clean and shiny. The location was perfect for walking to all the spots we wanted to hit. Despite the room not being cleaned one day, it didn't overshadow the fantastic overall stay. 🌟

Well, it was a really nice stay at this hotel. Enjoyed the way my twin/double room was arranged with a good view, good bed, for example.

The room was so cozy with windows on both sides, giving me a real New York City vibe. The bathroom had heated floors and a walk-in rain shower, which made me feel like royalty. The separate living area was perfect for hanging out with friends.

Personally, I found the iPod docking station a bit outdated. But I know some people still enjoy using it.

Clean, convenient hotel with beautiful location in Midtown. I was given elegant and airy room, just how I expected it to be.

During our recent stay in New York for sightseeing in the vicinity, we appreciated the comfortable and plush beds that provided a good night's rest. The clean rooms and facilities were also a plus point, ensuring a pleasant stay overall. Additionally, the bar offered great service with a variety of drinks and food choices. While there were some minor inconveniences, such as thin doors and check-in delays, the positives outweighed the negatives, making our stay enjoyable.

$10 espresso sounds amazing. It's a good thing I didn't ask for a double :-). Just like the $39 breakfast. As you leave the hotel at the corner on the left is an excellent Danish chain for the latter.

During my recent business trip to New York, I had the pleasure of staying at Intercontinental. The hotel's small 24-hour fitness center was a pleasant surprise, offering a satisfying selection of Technogym equipment. It was a great way to stay active and refreshed, and I appreciated the convenience of being able to work out at any time during my busy schedule.

The additional $35 dollar charge which they say is a credit towards food and drink is a rip off.

Great location near Grand Central station; pretty decor and spacious room for NYC; friendly staff throughout. Enjoyed unwinding at the hotel bar and convenience of nearby dining options. Only downside was the repetitive breakfast menu, but overall a solid spot for a city break 🌆.

Location of the hotel, cleanliness and comfort of the room, breakfast certainly expensive but with fresh American homemade products that change every day!

As an avid marathon runner, the fitness center at Intercontinental New York Barclay was top-notch. Despite some service hiccups, the beautiful lobby and convenient location made up for it. Quick room service and well-appointed rooms added to a great stay overall. I will return for sure.

the noise of the street however were not on street problem of acoustics on the alu joinery.

Intercontinental provided excellent breakfast and well-maintained rooms. A favorite property for 4 years, with a convenient location near Grand Central Station and the Theater District.

The staff at the receptionist desk were courteous and helpful at all times, suggesting to upgrade our room to a suite for more space for our family. the lobby had a lovely bar, and check-in and check-out were swift. the room size was good, and the daily housekeeping service kept everything clean. the hotel's location was great for walking to popular attractions, like Broadway and Rockefeller Center.

It would have been nice to have a small coffee café for quick snacks instead of buying a full breakfast. Being more transparent and accommodating with reservations could improve the overall guest experience.

We recently stayed at a fantastic hotel in Manhattan. the rooms were incredibly comfortable, and the location was perfect for exploring the city. We were able to walk to popular attractions like Times Square, Grand Central, museums, shopping areas, restaurants. the staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast had a great selection of food. We particularly loved the king beds with the amazing pillows that provided the most excellent nights rest. the large screen TV with numerous digital channels was a bonus, and the air conditioner worked effectively and quietly in our spacious room. our experience at the Intercontinental was outstanding.

Sadly, the housekeeping staff seemed to forget to provide us with enough towels for our family of four, necessitating a call to reception each day to request more.

The executive king room on the 11th floor was spacious, clean, and quiet. The bed had super soft linen and was very comfortable. The building itself was beautifully renovated with classic 1920s features. I highly recommend staying at this hotel.
